MLK Day in DC

Today we had an amazing MLK Day in Washington DC!

We started out by taking the Metro from Bethesda to the Spy Museum and learning all about espionage. What a fascinating place! We had lunch at the old post office building, which is now a food court. It was very crowded. On the National Mall we almost got on CNN live with Soledad O'Brien and saw David Archuleta of American Idol fame and Anderson Cooper from CNN.

We then went to our Cousin Bob and Sarah's apartment in Chevy Chase Maryland and went out to dinner at an Italian restaurant named Listrani's.

Tomorrow, we'll take a special Inauguration shuttle bus back to the mall. We'll see what we can see!

  3. Hi everybody! It's me Zack...I just want everyone to know that I hope to see you soon! I am having a very exciting time with my family here in D.C. I saw Barak Obama become President today! It was very crowded and cold but was very exciting. My brother and I got to get VIP tickets and tee shirts. I will tell you all about it when I come to school on Thursday. I have been keeping a journal and scrapbook. I will show you all of my souveniers.
